"It has been said that you become a part of what you condone. The state should never have become a part of the Indiana Youth Group. Unfortunately, too few legislators took the time to look past the hysteria into what the organization does and intends to do with plate funds."

-- Indiana religious right bigot Micah Clark, Executive Director of the American Family Association of Indiana, in a letter to the editor of the Lafayette Journal Courier. While Clark intends the sentence to castigate lawmakers who wouldn't agree to single out the IYG's specialty license plate for revocation, I think that it's a great way to end the letter. Clark generated the hysteria.
