Bil posted this video in June, but if you missed it - in this unofficial video created by club promoter Videodrome Discotheque of the Scissor Sisters' "Let's Have a Kiki," we get a visual mash-up of some great gay and camp classics.
Seems the Scissor Sisters themselves have endorsed the video with Jake Shears tweeting, "I am obsessed with your video. It is one of the best things I've ever seen. Thank you thank you thank you. Fking killed it."
Will this soon become the official video?
The song is addictive enough as is, but the video is a great overview of movies every person, gay or straight, should see - mixed in with TV, old and new (RuPaul's Drag Race).
Some are more camp than gay, some are just musicals (doesn't automatically make it gay), and others are serious contributions to gay history.
I've done my best to give you a quick round-up of some of the movies presented with the help of IMDB, but there are more than a few I do not recognize - please fill me in if you can.
I'm skipping the TV, and sticking with film, so feel free to take that on in the comments.
Check out the video and the list of movies after the jump. Any favorites I missed? Any that I misidentified?
