I finally saw this week's episode of The New Normal late last night after my shift at the 9:30 Club. I have been skeptical of the show, but it is really starting to grow on me.

In the new episode, Bryan and David's surrogate's daughter Shania is pretend engaged to a classmate (she could do better), and of course the gays dive in and play along as they address their own marital status and what saying "I do" means to them.

And then of course comes the right-wing grandma to educate the youth on the sins of man on man, woman on woman ring swapping.

Check out the clip:

The episode reminded me of yesterday's guest post by Jim Toevs, "Using Humor to Promote Marriage Equality". Do you think it's working?
