I am in love with George Takei. If you do not follow him on Facebook of Twitter, you are missing some of the most hilarious moments of every Trekkie's favorite gay. But for those of you with doubts, Takei is hitting your TV screens as part of an Old Navy ad campaign for Black Friday sales.

I'm not a fan of Old Navy of Black Friday. It's not Old Navy's fault that my middle school wardrobe consisted largely (and I do mean "largely") of Old Navy Performance Fleece. I was the fat kid then, and I prefer to not revisit those year.

As for Black Friday - I just find the idea of stampeding for sales disgusting. Also, my grandma works at Wal Mart and has to spend the day after Thanksgiving at that hell-hole starting at 5:00am (that time may have changed since last year - I'll have to check with my mother). Poor poor Granny Belle - you deserve a rest.

Anyway, back to Takei. While I am not a fan of the subject matter, this ad is hilarious. A reworking of Aerosmith's "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing," it seems only appropriate that a song from the Armageddon soundtrack could become a Black Friday ad.

Check out the video below. Do you plan on fighting the crowds this Friday?
