This would be hysterical if the kid's mental health wasn't at stake. Angus T. Jones, the 19 year old teen fans of Two and a Half Men have watched grow up on the CBS sitcom over ten seasons, suddenly got religion after realizing he was on a "downward trend" and is now calling the show "filth" and begging people not to watch it.
In a video posted by the End-of-Times-ish Christian Forerunner Chronicles, Jones says:
I'm on Two and a Half Men, and I don't want to be on it. Please stop watching it; please stop filling your head with filth....A lot of people don't like to think about how deceptive the enemy is. He's been doing this a lot longer than any of us have been around. So we can't play around. There's no playing around when it comes to eternity.
Jones gets $350,000 per episode and signed a one-year contract in May. The LA Times reports that production for the show is on schedule, though Jones does not appear again until next year. Some industry experts speculate that Jones might have breached his contract by disparaging the show. No comment yet from CBS.
