LesMisLogo1.jpgSorry for the late post this week. One of my best friends from college is in town from the west coast, and I have been spending as much time with her as possible these last few days before her return home on election day.

It has been a great visit, and a much needed break before the chaos that will be Monday and Tuesday. I'm hoping she is the only person I care about leaving Washington on November 6.

I contemplated multiple directions to take this week's sing-off, but like usual, I'm going with what has been stuck in my head - "One Day More" from Les Misérables. I think it is mostly due to my desire to finally see the battle over with.

I've only seen Les Misérables on tour and a not so horrible high school production. I love the music, but my viewing location from the lawn at an outdoor arena combined with the length of the show made my ass ache.

I'm hoping the new film version arriving in theaters this Christmas gives my butt a break and blows me away - and if I can judge anything from a trailer and Oscar buzz, I think I'll be seeing this more than once in theaters.

The cast in each of these clips overlaps often, so rather than who did it best, which performance do you think was best? I'm a fan of the 25th Anniversary Concert personally. Check out the clips after the jump and let me who you think is best.

If you have missed the first look at the upcoming movie, I've included it with the clips after the break. Are you as excited as I am? No matter what happens this Tuesday, there is always Christmas and the French Revolution to look forward to.
