As if we needed another reminder that the U.S. Supreme Court Justices who will be hearing the constitutional challenges to Prop 8 and the so-called Defense of Marriage Act incorporate personal feelings when deciding the law - Justice Antonin Scalia - pitching his new book Reading Law - cracked wise on Monday during a lecture at Princeton University when asked by a freshman from San Francisco about his equating laws banning sodomy with laws banning bestiality and murder.

Scalia said: "If we cannot have moral feelings against homosexuality, can we have it against murder? Can we have it against other things?"
But - as LA-based gay immigration attorney Lavi Soloway and filmmaker Brynn Gelbard illustrate in The DOMA Project's series of short films, "Love Stories: Binational Couples on the Front Lines Against DOMA" - what's immoral is perpetuating the discriminatory harm endured by loving bi-national couples because of DOMA. This is the story of a young Latino couple from Miami married in Washington DC fighting for their love and a Green Card.
