Will Illinois Pass Marriage Equality Today?

While the rumor mill says that Illinois Governor Pat Quinn may call state legislators back to the Capitol for a special session, the push is on for the state House of Representatives to pass marriage equality today - the last day of the legislative session.


The measure has already passed the state senate and Governor Quinn has said he'd sign it into law. Quinn has pushed for passage, but it remains uncertain whether or not there are enough votes to pass it.
