New Marriage Equality Anthem: 'We Have the Right'

samia_wehavetheright.pngQueer NYC-based rocker/songwriter and LGBTQ activist Samia has released a catchy new marriage equality anthem in anticipation of the Supreme Court's upcoming rulings on DOMA and Prop 8 and just time for New York City's Pride celebration.

The song, called "We Have the Right," traces the arc of the modern LGBT rights movement from Stonewall to SCOTUS and pays homage to the activists who have pushed America forward on the path towards equality.

It's being launched today on the website, which Samia also intends to make into a resource site connecting listeners with activists and organizations doing marriage equality work.
