Are you having problems understanding the current battle over Obamacare and the impending government shutdown Republicans are forcing on the country? Here's an easy analogy to help you grok the potential financial disaster looming this week as the right wing continues their quixotic battle against healthcare.

Hint: Republicans are the tuba sousaphone players. The federal government is the entire band's halftime show. Throw them together and you have chaos.

More people say Republicans in Congress rather than President Barack Obama would be responsible if the federal government shuts down starting Tuesday because of a bitter partisan battle over the new health care law, according to a new CNN/ORC International poll.

With just hours before funding for the federal government runs out at 12:01 a.m. ET Tuesday, the poll showed that most Americans also think congressional Republicans are acting like "spoiled children" in this fiscal fight, with the public divided on whether the president is acting like a spoiled child or a responsible adult.
