Oh Baby: Bring on the Dancing Boys!

Jerame and I have a long-standing joke whenever one of us leaves the house. Inevitably, the person leaving will say, "Be sure to have the dancing boys gone by the time I get home." We use the same joke with friends who ask what to bring for dinner or a small get-together. Just yesterday, John Becker and his husband, Michael, asked what to bring to family dinner night. The reply? "Dancing boys would be nice."

Speaking of John, he and I have had a couple of conversations now about the new twerking fad. Neither of us are very impressed with it. That video of the extremely cute baseball player spinning around and shaking his ass for the camera is nice and all, but both of us preferred that one second where he's facing forward, if you know what I mean and I think you do.

Which brings me to this video of dancing boys I discovered yesterday while doing scientific research into the molecular structure of the North American Three Winged Fruit Bat because that's what I do on Saturdays when I'm all caught up on my knitting. It has something for everyone.

I finally get to show Jerame what the dancing boys I'd hire look like and while there's plenty of wanna-be twerking to keep him happy, there's also a show that John and I would pay money to go see. No, I'm not talking about their dance moves. There's no doubt that their dancing skills are about as elusive as that damn fruit bat I'm always looking for.

Oh, did I mention that they're twins?
