Even though National Organization for Marriage head Brian Brown has been running around decrying recent court decisions that bakeries and other businesses in the wedding industry have to serve same-sex couples equally, the group's founder, Maggie Gallagher, admitted recently that she'd bake the cake for a same-sex wedding.

Good As You shares audio of Gallagher saying that she'd bake a wedding cake for a gay couple - if she had permission from her priest. In one breath she admits that she can't think of a reason why she wouldn't be allowed to make the hypothetical cake, but then praises an Oregon woman, Melissa Klein, who refused to serve a gay couple, saying she believes there's "no way a good Christian woman" could make the cake.

As with most of these religious right nutjobs who've been the vociferous face of hate for the past few decades, Gallagher has repeatedly tried to backpeddle on some of her most anti-gay positions but just can't help herself. The ugly face of homophobia rears it's head and -bammo- she reverts back to the standard illogical and hypocritical word drools. (At this point it doesn't really spew out, it just kinda dribbles out regularly like a baby.)
