mundpropaganda_1.jpgThe German-language edition of GQ has just launched a new campaign called #Mundpropaganda: Gentlemen Against Homophobia, which features 13 straight celebrities making out as a statement against anti-gay bigotry.

"Mundpropaganda" literally translates to "mouth propaganda," a cheeky reference to both lip-locking and the fact that the campaign was at least partially inspired by Russia's ban on so-called "gay propaganda."

Actors Herbert Grönemeyer and August Diehl, rappers Moses Pelham and Thomas D, Olympic champion volleyballers Jonas Recker and Julius Brink, and the bands Fettes Brot and Revolverheld are all participating in the multimedia campaign, which will be promoted across the entire German GQ brand and includes a social media component. Six photographs are printed in GQ's January print edition, which hit newsstands today.

Check out another photo from the #Mundpropaganda campaign and a making-of video after the jump. To learn more, like Mundpropaganda on Facebook and visit GQ Deutschland.
