FOX News reporters, conservative politicians, and the religious right nutjobs whose dollars they covet, get all worked up every year about the "War on Christmas." Because, you know, it's a celebration that is slipping down the holiday yardstick so fast that soon it'll be relegated to the back burner with holy days like National Roast Suckling Pig Day (Dec 18) or V-E Day (May 8) or National Beheading Day (Sept 2).

Back in my day, everyone roasted a suckling pig; now no one does. It's a sad commentary on the power of the vegetarian lobby, really. How many people aren't being beheaded now? Does Germany even remember we won World War II? Do WE?

Now the dark forces of secularism are trying to steal Christmas from Christians. In fact, I'll bet somewhere out there in Amurica someone is beating a little child's face so she won't celebrate Jeebus' birthday on the day that early Christians stole from pagans.

Thankfully, some outfit called "St. Mary's At Large" has stepped up to the plate and is willing to remind all God-fearing, non-Christian child-smacking, holiday hotheads that there is a GODDAMN WAR ON and now is not the time to whisper quietly about mangers and Santa Claus and wise men, but instead to scream the dangers from the rooftops.

Or at least from underneath the Christmas tree.

With no website and only a Facebook page with 113 likes, that group is on the move. Look for them to last as long (and be as important as) I Forgot Day (July 2).
