Everyone knows that Meryl Streep can do no wrong. One of the most critically-acclaimed actresses in film history, Streep is like a chameleon -- she can play basically any role convincingly.

So when Streep visited Ellen yesterday to discuss her record 18th Oscar nomination (for her performance in August: Osage County), host Ellen DeGeneres decided to put this to the test by asking her to read boring texts as different characters. She had three assignments:

  1. Read an oatmeal recipe in a sexy voice

  2. Read a traffic report as a woman in labor

  3. Read text from a Wikipedia article like an annoyed teenager

The results, which you can watch below, were hilarious. My favorite was the traffic report. What was yours?
