envelope-letter.jpgSame-sex marriage has been legal in Iowa for five years now and the Des Moines Register ran a three day series last week looking at the impact of the state Supreme Court's decision. The best opinion, however, comes from a letter to the editor sent in by Jim Zeller of Des Moines.

It's been five years of same-sex marriage in Iowa. As a never-married male over the age of 40, everyone thought I was gay. Now I'm just a loser. What a relief!
