2014familyday403.jpgYes, it's that time of year again, and you're all invited to join me for the 9th Annual Blogging for LGBTQ Families Day on Monday, June 2! This is a celebration of LGBTQ families whether you're part of one, know one, or just want to support them.

Simply post on or before June 2 at your own blog, YouTube channel, group blogging site (like Bilerico), or other public social media channel on a topic related to LGBTQ families (however you define them) on or before June 2, 2014, then submit the links to your entries here. I will showcase the full list of participants at Mombian on June 2 for all to see.

Your post can be a personal anecdote, political commentary, media review, satire, poem, photo, or video, among other things. If your blog isn't about LGBTQ families, feel free to tie in your normal topics, e.g., if you're a food blogger, you could write about having dinner (real or imagined) with the lesbian moms down the street.

You may also tweet in support of LGBTQ families on June 2 and include the hashtag #lgbtqfamilies. I will display the tweets in a scrolling box at Mombian throughout the day. The hashtag can also be followed using most popular Twitter software.

Thanks in advance for your participation and helping to spread the word about the event!
