wisconsin_satellite.jpgHey readers: do you live in Wisconsin?

Do you have a significant other of the same sex?

Did you and that significant other get married during the eight-day window this month when same-sex marriages were being performed in Wisconsin -- after Judge Barbara Crabb's ruling striking down the marriage discrimination amendment, but before she stayed her ruling?

If so, the ACLU of Wisconsin wants to talk to you. And no, you're not in trouble:

The ACLU of Wisconsin would like to speak to same-sex couples who were married between June 6-13, 2014 since they are considering legal action against the state on behalf of couples whose marriages have been denied recognition by the state or local governments.

If you were married in that time period and are facing harm because your marriage is being denied recognition, please fill out the survey by July 2nd at midnight.

Got that? If you were married during the window but are how being harmed because your town, county, or the state isn't recognizing that legal marriage, this is your chance to fight back. Please contact the ACLU ASAP!
