indiana-ag-zoeller-dontdefend.jpgBil is out of the office today, but like the good Hoosier native that he is, he's keeping a close watch on the latest marriage equality news out of Indiana.

He just posted this to Facebook, and I wanted to pass it along as quickly as possible to all of you, dear readers:

The Attorney General is conducting a poll on whether the marriage decision should be appealed. The number is 317-232-6201, choose 1 for English and then 5 to speak to an operator. Then you can just tell the operator you're calling about voting "no" for the appeal, and they will mark you down.

You know what to do: call, call, call! The AG's office is closed right now, but you can leave a voicemail message telling him not to appeal. Make it short, though, to leave room for others. And if the voicemail inbox fills up, call back tomorrow morning!

The group Hoosiers Unite for Marriage also has a petition calling on Attorney General Greg Zoeller not to appeal the decision. Click here to sign.
