Lambda Legal is making LGBT fundraising history with a pledge to match up to $1,000,000 in donations, but it's not possible without you (and not just your money). You don't have to give piles of cash to help the org out and participating is simple; all you need is a social media account and a hashtag.

For every action taken before the Supreme Court issues their ruling on marriage equality - whether that's signing up for their mailing list, giving a donation, or sharing a story with the hashtag #IDO - one dollar will be donated to Lambda Legal. If you donate, the money will be matched dollar for dollar; if you give $100, they'll get $200. What a deal!

"Even as we're poised to win what we hope will be a big victory for marriage, we have well-funded opponents who are more determined than ever to turn back our advances," said Lambda Legal's Board Co-Chair Karen Dixon. "And the day after marriage equality is legal in all 50 states, employment discrimination against LGBT people will remain rampant, too often leaving exceptional workers suddenly holding a pink slip. We need to increase our team of experienced lawyers and advocates to make sure that if you post your wedding photos on Facebook, you won't be fired the next day."

Want to help Lambda Legal out without spending a dime (although we encourage you to donate too, obviously)? First, go sign up for their mailing list. Then send out this tweet or make up your own:

Tomorrow the Supreme Court will hear arguments on #MarriageEquality. Say #IDO today: http://bit.ly/sayIDOvideo
