olbermann_sochi.pngFormer MSNBC and Current TV anchor Keith Olbermann returned to the airwaves at the end of last month with a nightly sports talk show on ESPN2.

While his contract reportedly forbids him from talking about politics, Olbermann opened his show last night with a nine-minute explanation of Russia's draconian anti-LGBT laws, the calls for and against boycotting the upcoming Sochi Olympic Games, and Russia's (and the IOC's) growing concern about the sustained international outcry against the laws and the advertising backlash that might result.

Olbermann brilliantly rips Vladimir Putin for his hypocrisy, former IOC president Jacques Rogge for his fecklessness, and the International Olympic Committee itself for its craven commercialism in the face of flagrant human rights abuses.

It's must-see TV. Watch, after the jump.
