Bio

Patrick J. Hamilton is an interior designer, blogger, humorist, writer and self-proclaimed “Accidental Activist” living and working in Manhattan.

After twelve years of Catholic school in Miami, Patrick attended the Rhode Island School of Design, where he received his BFA in Graphic Design. He returned to his South Florida home where he lived in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale before coming to New York in 1995 to work as an ad agency Creative Director.

Patrick has become an active member in and advocate for the New York interior design scene, where he covers industry events for his design blog, AskPatrick, and where he contributes house tours for major interior blogs. He spearheaded “NYC Designing Men: It Gets Better” and recently participated for the second time in "Design on a Dime," the annual fundraiser to benefit New York's Housing Works.

Patrick and his interior projects have been featured on HGTV, HGTV.com, CBS, HouseBeautiful.com, Apartment Therapy, and the windows of Bloomingdale’s New York flagship store.

Hamilton is battling an ongoing Facebook addiction.
